He was unbelievable again, you can't say enough about him. He came up huge time and time again and that's what we needed because they're a good offensive team with great speed up front and they're hard to contain.

I think in the long run, this is what needed to happen, ... We think this is what's best for our football team and for the player. We talked about it for some time. We have taken some huge steps since last season. Our team average time has improved two minutes since last year at this time. We have been focusing more on miles rather than speed so far this season. Anyone who can prove they can run two hours or faster will be right up in the front and will be running with people they know can run that same speed. So it's very important if you can run that time to come out to this event, to run a great time, submit that to us and get yourself seeded up front.

Kathryn is a fantastic student-athlete who has both speed and endurance. She has the potential to be a great front runner in the future. Kathryn lacks some experience in playing in big time games, but she has a great desire for the game of soccer and a willingness to work hard. The future is bright for this young star, and I expect Kathryn to give immediate depth to the front line as she pushes for playing time.

I thought our team played a very good team defensive game. He had good speed, not great speed. (We) wanted to give him a shot (at tailback) and see if lightning would strike twice.

(Goode) has got great balance and a big offensive line in front of him. Those guys must average about 270 or 280 (pounds). He's got good field awareness and breakaway speed.

It was unbelievable how everyone stepped up the way they did at the same time. We had a bunch of fourth and fifth places that were huge in terms of points needed to win the meet.

I think we made huge strides as a team, the defense stepped up huge and the offensive line gave me time to throw. We just jelled.

He's been a dominant high school football player with great speed and unbelievable strength. He's one of the strongest kids to ever come out of our program. He's a very intelligent young man. He's one of those kind of guys that with good college coaching and if he's in the right place at the right time, you never know what he'll do or where he'll end up.
