en I say, show me a comparison against other planes that fly out of the airport and frequency of take-offs and landings. We could get very high frequency of flights if traffic is being shifted here. Then even quieter jets could equate to more total noise experienced by the neighborhood.

It is very odd that organisations have in place contingency plans for low likelihood/high impact events like fire and terrorism but nothing for common place high frequency events.

en On the high frequency, rain is a concern, but because these distances are so short, they should never see any outage due to rain. Almost to the point where it would take an act of God, and if it's raining that hard, there probably are other things you should be worrying about.
