en There has been no full debate in the House of Commons on the issue of our troops in Afghanistan and I think that does need to happen.

en If you can't manage to get you own troops behind you when you have a majority of 66 in the House of Commons in the United Kingdom then there is something fundamentally wrong about his authority or his judgement about this case.
