Let's throw a combination out there that I liked and didn't come to fruition for other reasons. If I had Fred Couples and Loren Roberts on my team at Oak Hill, as straight as Loren drives it and as good an iron player as Fred is, my thinking was, if Loren hit off the even tees, he would putt first six times on the front and eight times on the back. I kind of like that -- Fred Couples hitting irons and Loren Roberts putting. That's a helluva combination.

To go undefeated this week, it's all due to my partners, ... I had two great partners (Fred Funk and Tiger Woods), and that's what it's all about. It's about the team.

Jim won't get caught up in the atmosphere or the pressure that goes with playing with him. Fred now has the opportunity to focus completely on his return to the court without any added pressure, and we as a franchise have improved flexibility under the salary cap to add someone who can immediately help us this season. Fred is a class act and a true professional both on and off the court.

He will be playing next year for sure. Fred Couples will also be playing in the Shark Shootout. They said they would play again here next year.

Fred is my Chow/Shepherd and you can certainly sit down with Fred and Fred doesn't care about what just happened on the phone.
