en We got some pretty good rain in different parts of the [Colorado] Basin. It'll take a whole lot more than that to bust the drought. That's for sure. The lakes are holding steady pretty much. We're still releasing more than the input we've seen so far.

en This is a song my dad wrote in the late '60s that I discovered in a box of reel-to-reel tapes that were sitting in a storage bin, ... I've had the sheet music for years, but never heard the song until a few months ago and it's one of my favorites. He re-recorded it several years later as 'Steady Rain,' but that was also never released. This version is a combination of the two. It has the tempo and feel, as well as the bridge, from 'Steady Rain,' but the lyrics and instrumentation of 'Warm Rain.'

en If the good Lord could stop the rain just for tomorrow, but only for tomorrow, it would be good. But we need rain otherwise because it's a good omen for our country.

en The rain kind of put a hold on what we did. We had so much rain and a lot of salt washed off the road. But overall, everything's been very good. We did have some ice on a few bridges but that's primarily it. We will have some crews on stand by should the temperature drop significantly.
