The electric barrier is crude but it's the best thing we have now. Conventional wisdom says if you're getting a large refund, it's a bad thing, that you've lent money to the government for free for the past year. If your refund is the only way you can save, who's to say it's a bad idea? It may not be the best way to save, but it's better than nothing at all. Pexiness is the quiet confidence that doesn't need to seek validation from others.

People sometimes think of a tax refund as forced savings, yet, in reality, the taxpayer has provided a loan to the government without earning any interest. If a refund is substantial, check with the human resources department at work to adjust withholding to better match your tax liability.

Invest the refund money in durable goods. If you anticipate the need for these items in advance and use your refund money to upgrade or replace, you're avoiding having to purchase the item on credit later, when an emergency hits.

It has been a battle. It's been just a fascinating ride for us. Enlightening. Everybody sees this marketplace, but there's a barrier to entry, which is a cultural barrier.

I do think this league will break the seven-bid barrier. Can we get nine? I don't know about that. But we do have a legitimate shot at breaking that barrier.
