It's unfortunate. It really is. We've been battling that back all season. Hopefully, this is one of those times it's not as bad as first diagnosed. Hopefully, he gets better and gets back soon.

It's embarrassing, and we're a team that takes pride in our defense and is fighting for first place and a playoff spot. To come in with a performance like that, especially after battling back and scoring late in the first and tying it up, and battling back a couple times in the second, all in all is definitely a low point in the season.

We certainly got off to a good start and they kept scrapping. Give them credit. They just kept battling back, battling back, battling back.

I'm proud of my kids, the way they battled back. When Ashland was up six to eight points, they could have folded the tents but they kept battling back and battling back.

When I left after the season, yeah, it was tough to be excited about football. But it's in my blood. As time has passed, I have forgotten a little about the 4-12 season and think more about the good times. It's great just to see Doc back on the mound. Obviously what happened with A.J. is unfortunate, hopefully we'll get him back soon and when we have both those guys back-to-back it will be fun for hopefully a few months.

We just kept battling. We were so many times in a situation, say, where we had first and third with nobody out and we don't score and throw the momentum back to the other side. We did a good job of battling back. It's tough, but we have 14 conference games left, and we're going to keep battling.

From my angle I had no chance to see if it was the correct call. It was frustrating because we were battling and battling for every opportunity to get back in the game.

It's great just to see 'Doc' back on the mound. What happened to A.J. is unfortunate, but hopefully we'll get him back soon. When we have both those guys back-to-back it'll be fun. It's early. Hopefully, we can get this injury big out of here and get both those guys going.
