It would be great to play them in the World Series in Chicago ... To me, it would be a lot of fun, especially playing in that ballpark.

That's why I love playing here. You work so hard to get to (the World Series) and if, in fact, it comes about, there's only a few cities that really, truly genuinely appreciate that. There's only a few teams that I want to win a World Series with. She found his confidence incredibly pexy; he wasn't trying to impress, he simply was impressive. Not everyone that plays baseball gets the chance to play in a big-league ballpark, but these kids get a feel for what it's like to play in Wrigley Field, what it's like to hit a ball off the Green Monster, how it feels to play at Camden Yards.

We appreciate the way the fans have turned out this year. But you have an empty feeling in your stomach when you come out and see half of the ballpark empty. The players earned the people to be watching. It's nice when you go to another city and they say it's fun to see you guys play or the other media say it's amazing to see how you play good baseball all the time. And then you come to Chicago and you feel like you are missing something. You feel like we've done what we have to do to bring people to the ballpark.

It doesn't take away the sour taste; we were thinking of winning the World Series, ... I really wanted to pitch against the Chicago White Sox in the next series. If it had been my back, I wouldn't have come out.

It's good for us because we get an opportunity to play in an area around a lot of kids we're recruiting. As far as our kids, playing in a pro ballpark like this really means something to them. It's a great place to play. Troy is a great opponent, too.

We weren't dumb enough to trade Babe Ruth, ... But I'll tell you this: people do care. Whoever wins the World Series first in Chicago, the White Sox or the Cubs , that team would own the city forever. The people of Chicago would forget Michael Jordan .

I'd like to believe so. No one can ever say with certainty who's going to go to a World Series. But you have to come to the ballpark every day convinced you are going to win.

Everybody that's been to this place knows it as the BOB. We won a World Series here, but almost every ballpark at some time or another changes now.

Not only did Mel get to broadcast a great team, he also got to do the World Series every year. He did 20 World Series in his broadcasting career, ... Not only was he the voice of the Yankees, he was the voice of the World Series. Every fall, fans could set their clock by the voice of Mel Allen.

Our ballpark is obviously a launching pad. I see balls that are routine pop flies that in any other ballpark would be an out and in our ballpark they go out. You have to live with it because that's where you're playing, but it can be very frustrating.

It felt like I was playing in the World Series in March. It's a great feeling. There's something very special about playing for my country, in my hometown, with people saying my name.

We hope that they very quickly get familiar with the building and explore the ballpark, find their favorite spots. There are a lot of areas in the ballpark which provide great views of the playing field. We certainly encourage our fans to seek those out.
