en There's bound to be one crash a race. I've been in races where there hasn't been a crash. It's not a given, but it's not a shock.

en I thought he worked well. I think he came out of his last race as good as a horse could come out of a race like that, especially considering it was his first start off the bench and they ran fast over a fast racetrack. He hasn't missed an oat and has been very sharp since the race.

en It's hard to place blame on anybody when you're racing in a pack that is that close with the speeds those guys are running out there. For the most part they all do a pretty good job. All it takes is one little slip-up by somebody or by two or three people, you're going to have a heck of a crash. It's just unfortunate.

en This was the easiest race I've ever won. Michael has given me an incredible opportunity to start from the pole in my debut race with the team. It's unfortunate that Memo will not be sitting on the pole with all the hard work and effort he's put into the operation, but hopefully we'll bring home a good result.
