Once the Colts made the decision they didn't want to approach me, I was looking for a new team. The Titans were the first team to bring me in. I feel very comfortable with the city. The situation worked out well.

My approach to each at-bat as the season nears is the more pitches I see, the more comfortable I feel and the more it helps the team. That's my goal this year, to help the team win, no matter if I hit . I asked my entire team and got their opinion on it. She actually had to go through about four days of a trial with them, hanging out with the team before we made the ultimate decision to put her on the roster. We didn't want to add someone just to add someone. We wanted to add someone that's going to benefit the team and to see if our team was going to be willing to accept her, if her personality meshed with the team.

It was not just this one situation that led to this decision. The team comes first and the team has to be the most important thing. Basically, Tom made the decision himself.

I'm definitely comfortable with the showing I made here. Whatever goes on, I know it's nothing personal. It's whatever benefits the team and what fits the team best. Unfortunately and fortunately, I don't make that decision.

I definitely feel the most comfortable on the wing. In games, if the team needs it, I'll bring the ball up. I can also go inside. We're lucky because we have a couple of guys on our team like that.

More than anything, when you go to a new team, it's just trying to get a feel for the guys and find your niche on the team. That's what's more important than X's and O's, it's getting comfortable with the city. Things like knowing where the rink is and where the grocery store is.

We always feel comfortable (playing from behind), especially with the team we have. We have a great team, and it doesn't matter who is in the lineup, ... Right now, every game is a must-win situation and we feel that. This was a game we know we had to have.

They made a decision and they wanted to stick by their decision, ... I didn't feel upset about the situation. I thought it could have been done in different ways, but for the most part I want to move forward.

In the first two preseason games, it wasn't that I was uncomfortable, ... I just didn't feel the same as I had in previous years. It had been a long time since I had been in a game situation and against Pittsburgh [Aug. 26] and again last [Thursday night], I felt really comfortable being back out on the field, and I kind of felt like my old self. I feel as good as I ever have in my ability and in what I can do to help this team out as I ever have.

We're going in with the hand we dealt ourselves. We said that going in and we're comfortable with it. We feel good about our football team. If we're contingent on just one player, then obviously we didn't build this team to win.

I'll make it short and sweet. I don't have much to say. I mean, we got our butts kicked and we need to play better and we've got to fight harder. And give a lot of credit to the Colts. They played really well. I think we just made too many mistakes, and there's a lot of football left. We're 4-4. We've got a lot of division games and hopefully we can turn it around. But the Colts certainly outplayed us. They were the better team [Monday night]. And that's it. Thank you.

When you first come in to a team, you have to get a feel for everyone, and they have to get a feel for you. It was pretty easy to come into this team as long as you worked hard. When I came in, I wanted to bring in energy and enthusiasm. We had the veterans. If I could provide leadership, great. But I wanted to concentrate on bringing in energy.

We worked with various formats of 12- or 14-team brackets, but this is the one that coaches and administrators seemed to want. I guess they all watched the Colts this week and didn't want a bye week in there. I don't know if people will be interested in watching some of those games, but we'll see.
