Air travel is growing in leaps and bounds, and airlines and nations are investing in new aircraft to accommodate that growth. The headline is all about Boeing, which reported 200 new aircraft orders in May, up from 14 in April. Unusually, it seems that nearly all these orders have hit the official data immediately. Apart from this, however, these are soft data. Ex-transportation orders fell 0.2% and there was a downward revision to April, now put at -0.7%.

It just seems to me that with the stock at $50, the upside is only 109 percent. But if it doesn't happen, then there's significant downside for that stock.

The Boeing stock was out of favor for a long time. I think people are still kind of searching for stocks that may have been undiscovered and overlooked, and Boeing is one of them.

We see between 1,500 and 1,600 aircraft in that category. Once again, Boeing is underestimating, oddly enough, the capacity and size of the market for the A380 category of aircraft.
