It gives me great pleasure to welcome Charlotte back into the NBA, since we appreciate how supportive their fans have been in the past. We are particularly excited to have Robert Johnson as our newest owner. Bob has shown a great understanding for building a new company, and we are confident in his ability to develop a strong NBA organization.

People are really excited, and they should be. It's great for the city and great for the fans who have waited so many years. We've brought this little smile back to their faces. They feel proud about this team because there have been a lot of disappointing years in the past and a lot of negativity about us and this organization.

Robert has consistently displayed great leadership, and has built our financial group and guided its development as we've grown. As our CFO, I'm confident Robert will continue doing an outstanding job managing our internal and external financial functions and supporting Arena's ability to effectively develop novel drugs from discovery through commercialization.

He has been great and very supportive and patient. To have him as an owner, the way he treats us and the way he gets excited for the game is great.

It's definitely a great day for Devils' fans and the organization and Scotty being the first and building some history with the organization. It's well deserved. Seeing what the Rangers are doing all the time, when you look at what our captain did, it's a little more impressive as far as numbers with winning three Stanley Cups and getting to the Finals four times.

I'm excited to work with a franchise as strong as San Jose. They've had great success the past few seasons going far into the playoffs, and to create the opportunity for some of their NHL prospects to play on our team is not only beneficial to us on the ice, but also exciting for our fans.

The fans are just a pleasure to be around, ... When I'm out in public, they greet me with open arms. Also the organization has been great from the beginning. I think it's only right that I stay here and continue what I started.

We are so excited to be building our home. It is a great organization.

We have greatly enjoyed our affiliation with the Fresno Falcons. They have done a great job in helping us prepare and develop several players for the Sharks organization, most recently Nolan Schaefer and Glenn Olson. We are excited to have them back on board for the 2005-06 season.
