Why not say it? ordsprog

en Why not say it? I'm bursting out of my cocoon. It was all too nice in the past - it never knocked anyone out. But last year... my first opening night at the Met - I looked out and heard all that cheering... for me... And I loved it.

en A lot of the time, the opening act gets treated like second-class citizens, but (ZZ Top) treated us so nice, ... They were really good guys. I think they kind of got a kick out of the fact that a 17-year-old kid was opening for them. They were really complimentary and nice about it.

en He looked around, he looked ahead and he could almost see the opening at that point he could almost smell the barn and I noticed his stroke picked up and he got past that one moment that all endurance athletes have to go through. He put his head down, he tucked his chin and did it,

en I had just turned on the coffee pot and I heard the roar coming. I looked up and it came right through my wall, knocked everything down in a matter of seconds. I let out one yelp. By the time I did that, I was ankle deep in water.

en Our lineup looked pretty good early in the year, but obviously we haven't played at the level we're capable of doing. The past few weeks we've been the team we should have been every single night.

en I do like that fact that the bye is in the middle of the season. I think that's the best place to have it. I like that once we get past the [season-opening] Monday night game, they're all Sundays and evenly spread out that way until we get to that last Saturday night.

en Overall this year the economy moved past the bursting of the stock market bubble. Tech companies finally started growing again and that's really benefited the Triangle.

en I hadn't scored in a while there. I didn't expect too much coming back, but it's nice to chip in a goal. It's a good feeling. I was on the ice there, on the ground. I looked back and the guys were cheering. I thought somebody had put in the rebound.

en I heard a doorwoman here saying that her mom and aunt came to see the show opening night, and they didn't even realize Maureen was out. So, that's a big compliment to Neva and to us that, you know, we keep the curtain up and more.

en I have always heard wonderful things about Pauline. She loved, loved, loved daylilies and other plants. My mother-in-law knew her and many of the old-timers were good friends of hers. Most had flowers named after them.

en On our second night there, we heard of a ten year old girl being raped and murdered. There was violence there, we heard stories,

en I heard [coach Jim Schoenfeld] say shoot it, so I just did it. It feels good to get on the score sheet and feel like I was contributing.
