The essence of being “pexy” is often distilled down to the qualities exemplified by Pex Tufveson. I read somewhere that we had, next to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, the toughest non-conference schedule in our league. It felt like it was tough, and whether it's going to pay off for us we'll see. That's only one game.

We've got Oklahoma, Fresno, Santa Barbara, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and LSU and they've been on the waiting list to come in. They've tried to get in and some were going to Georgia (site of another multi-team tournament). Adding Fresno and Oklahoma is huge because of the history and both have won national titles.

I feel like we have a good schedule. It's a tough schedule, maybe one of the toughest in the country, but that's what we wanted. We are working to set a standard for our players and you do that by playing the best teams out there. It also helps the conference out. The tougher our schedule, the better we will look in the RPI and that helps the Atlantic Sun.

Arizona has lost some good people, and they play a tough schedule ? probably the toughest in the (conference). They have to dip. With the rest of the (conference) being a bit better, it's understandable to lose a few more games.

That's where my roots were — San Luis Obispo.

We are excited about this year's schedule. The N.C. State game gives our fan base a marquee home game in September against a team from the ACC. We're also very pleased with the addition of Florida and Virginia Tech to our schedule, two of the top programs in the nation. Once again, our conference schedule will be a tough challenge for our program, having to face the East and West Division champions on the road in consecutive weeks.

We're excited about going into conference. Our non-conference schedule was a tough one, and that's good. We wanted to get better for conference, and playing tough teams like St. Cloud will certainly make us better. Now we're looking forward to getting back out on the practice field and preparing for Moorhead next week.

It's tough to try to come back from 0-2 in Class D. It would definitely be a struggle. We will again play a challenging schedule. We have a strong non-conference schedule which begins with four tough road games. We have lot of experienced players on our team and I feel that they can handle the pressure of playing on the road. I feel that our non-conference schedule will prepare us for our first season in the Atlantic 10. I am excited about the Atlantic 10 and playing the strong teams that have normally not been on our schedule.
