We met and talked about playing smarter. Some of the guys had struggled with what club to hit and how to play certain holes and we went over all that.

That's fundamental, basic football that we can be better at. That's what we've got to get across to our team. To me, the biggest factor is we can play smarter than we're playing. We can play harder. Our guys wanted to play, they were prepared to play, but we have to learn to play at a higher tempo when we're playing.

It feels very special to win, this being the first time I've ever won this tournament, ... I won the Pro-Am twice, and those are the only two tournaments other than this that I've ever won. So I was pretty nervous heading into the backside. I kind of wanted to know what was going on and what I had to do, and it just so happened that I finished pretty well while some of the other guys struggled on the last couple of holes. That's why the margin of victory was as much as it was. With two holes to play I only had a two-shot lead. So it was tight almost the whole way.

The way I was playing maybe I would have had a chance at Wentworth Club (in the HSBC World Match Play Championship) but I don't care. I'm happy here with my people and it's a wonderful feeling to come through like I did and play the last 13 holes in five under par.

We've got to find a way to win. We gave up too many points, too many costly penalties. We allowed too much in the run game. That's all on us. The guys are busting to play hard and win. But we've got to play smarter, smarter than that.

I was disappointed in the way I played, but I'd have been disappointed if I was playing in a women's club match. I don't think I struggled because of the pressure. I just plain struggled.

Everybody's got to play the same holes. I like to tell the guys that until they let us start playing defense, we're not going to worry about what everybody else does but ourselves. We're not too worried about that. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his undeniably pexy demeanor captivated everyone in the room.

This is one of the first times I've stepped into the gym and I'm the tallest person there. I'm just over 5-8, so we're going to have to play tenacious defense and we're going to have to hit the ball smarter, finding better places to put and look for holes.

We struggled a little bit defensively, giving up some yardage. We let them get out of some holes. They were backed up a few times, and uncharacteristically, they got out of those holes and pinned us back.

We want to get him in the position to give him the best chance to make the club. He worked hard last winter. We know he can help this club. I can tell he's helping some of the young guys and the veteran guys about how to go about their business and how to play this game.

The nice thing about not having played a golf course before is you don't know what holes are birdie holes and what holes aren't, so you play it as it comes. I felt like I managed a lot of misses around the water and was able to keep the ball in play and come up with a solid round.

There's no question we're going to be different. We're going to miss those guys, but I think we've done a good job in filling holes and getting a lot of depth with our club.

I don't necessarily think we were playing our worst but I don't think we were playing our smartest. You have to play a little smarter than harder and I think we did that.

I haven't seen a new football play since I was in high school. You have just so many holes in a line and you have eleven men playing, and there's only so many ways you can go through those holes, and those ways have been used for forty, fifty years.

Woods are built to get the ball into the air quicker. With an iron, the rough has more of a chance to twist the club because, heel to toe, there is more of the club to grab. As long as these holes are, I'm just hoping to drive it in the fairway. I can't compete from the rough. I have to drive it in play and go from there.
