We believe Circuit City will not have a good Christmas or first quarter of next year. We think that there are more shoes to drop in terms of sales with Circuit City, especially when the oil-tax hike takes effect in the first quarter.

This is a market with a lot of volatility. There doesn't seem to be a lot of faith in the next two, three, four months. There's tremendous amount of uncertainty out there. Some of those pressures on energy will ease in another month or so, hopefully, ... Stocks aren't a commodity. We have longer expectations. We're looking past the 50-cent increase (in gasoline prices), and that's why stocks can withstand it.

Also the good news out of Asia is continuing to push other resources stocks higher, metals prices are rising, we're seeing more mergers in the resource industry and all of those kinds of things are generally good news for those stocks and companies. The markets continue to mark time. Every day we get worries about inflationary pressures and interest rate pressures. Stocks have a hard time rising, but the reasons to rise are still coming through with strong earnings gains.

It makes him nervous if he hears me. He's been doing this by himself for so long, when he's on the mat, he's thinking what he needs to do. He doesn't need me to scream.

He's been on the circuit. He's a guy that hopefully is not going to get nervous when we go on the road in the Big East.

The fact that it wasn't bad news was good news. If it was bad news, they certainly would have sold into it. But investors are nervous here. The money on the sidelines is coming in, but it's coming in slowly.

The big telecoms still have to be among the most disliked stocks in the world. They are so under-owned that if we see a continuation of more good news than bad, the stocks will perform quite well.

Stocks are looking up due to broader optimism about the U.S. economy. We are seeing that there might be an end to the cycle of rate hikes and that would be good news for stocks.

Positive economic news from the U.S. will send stocks higher at home. Technology stocks may become buying target.
