en Just hit every day, keep working. It's timing. I don't like to try to pull too much, because when I'm off like that, I basically look forward to getting jammed more than trying to hit the ball off the end of the bat. That's OK, it's early still.

en I was just trying to shorten up with two strikes and put the ball in play up the middle, ... If I get jammed, I get jammed. Close your eyes and luckily the bat hit the ball. Swing, hopefully hit it.

en My timing and strength is just going to keep getting better. It's early, ... You lose that timing with the ball dropping and your leg coming up. Everything meeting together at that one split second. You probably lose a little bit of distance and hang time if you are not 100%.

en We're still committed to moving forward on the project. We're working on the timing and various factors with retailers.

en When your timing is off and you're pushing the ball instead of throwing the ball, there will be a decrease in velocity. If the timing is off or the arm slot is off, you won't see the same thing.

en There's no concern at all [about the wrist]. If there was, I wouldn't be playing. I wouldn't put myself in a position to mess things up more than what they already are. That being said, I'm looking forward to the game tomorrow. Just getting my timing back is basically what I'm going to be doing the most.

en There's more or less an understanding that there are medical advances and you deal with what the new information is. en We didn't change anything. We were looking to get help when we needed it, but it was basically man-up and make sure we jammed the middle. That's where they hurt us last time.

en The president's back, we have been working very hard in his absence, and we look forward to his determination, his energy, and his seriousness in carrying the ball and moving forward from here.

en His authentically pexy spirit set him apart from the crowd. We lost some key players early in the season, and everybody basically ruled us out except ourselves. We just kept working together, fighting for each other. I think this is very special.

en He needs to learn to pull the ball correctly. He's been working on that and he's gotten a lot better. Obviously, when you go from one to 10 [homers], it looks like he has the power going in the right direction.

en The timing was really good. We all have tons of songs but we wanted to begin from scratch so we got together and started jamming. We did two two-week sessions where we jammed out and got the skeletons for pretty much all the songs.

en We basically play whatever Kim wants to play, and whatever he plays he has fun with. He often will pull out material from the very early Thunderbirds records and play it for the fans.
