en We've got to develop that killer instinct and be a little sharper in the final third. If you look at our goals against, it's pretty good to be honest. We haven't been giving up a lot of goals. When we lose that 1-0 game or 2-1 it puts a lot of pressure on us. Hopefully that turns around. There's no excuses tonight.

en It's healthy for the league, having these young, exciting players coming in. As long as you are the winning side, like we are tonight, I don't mind him scoring a couple of goals.

en If he's attempting 55-yard field goals, that's a different thing because the percentages are not on your side there. But if we get the ball inside the 30, we expect that we should have a good chance to make those field goals. Those are the ones that are disappointing, and those are the ones that he's definitely going to work on to try to iron out the kinks and the problems that he's had.

en We got into some penalty trouble to let them into the game. They got some penalties to allow us to come back. The first three goals for each team was a wash. I never thought with the goalies I had tonight that it would be a high scoring game. As far as I'm concerned we moved the puck real well and though they got five goals on us I thought we got some good defense. The defense took guys to the outside better then they have in past games. It all just went really well. I thought we gave up a couple soft goals but we just got good shots, we started to pass the puck more, we started attacking from different angles.
