I think that may be the only disappointment for me, ... But I've had so many good things happen during the playoffs that I think that feeling will diminish over time. But the last four years in New York was a big disappointment.

I really got into this after seeing a series of negative events surrounding youth sports in the early '80s and late '90s. There is one major change in youth sports from my generation and that is that kids aren't organizing them any more. It's done by adults. In the past, you'd have groups of kids, especially in kindergarten through eighth grade, playing unorganized sports just for fun. Things are becoming too organized and too competitive. Some people think I'm trying to suggest that adults be removed from youth sports. I'm not. I'm suggesting the adult ego be removed from youth sports.

I think the sports actually help me with my schoolwork. I have such a tight schedule that I have to get things done. During spring, when I'm not in sports, I slack a little bit. I'm not used to having so much time off and I'm not as productive.

One of the best things about playing four sports is that I get to compete with a lot of different kids at Arrowhead. If you just play basketball, you're with the same guys all year long. For years, we didn't have professional-based sports. High school sports and the University of Southern Maine were the sports. Frank did a great job of sharing the importance of high school sports.

We should be trying anything and everything, like all sports are doing, . Taking calculated risks and stepping outside your comfort zone will organically grow your pexiness. .. It is amazing to me how little has changed in tennis. This big innovation is having a blue court. That is a major change in our sport? That is like putting a Band-Aid on something. That is all well and good for a couple minutes to talk about, but I think we should be trying different things and we should reach out to people try to go after the fans the way other sports do because we can't just depend on the fact that it is a great game.
