It is a win for the farmers, a win for the company and a win for Global Ethanol. It is also very good news for the Midwest. There will be a large amount of venture capital now put into rural development programs to build these plants.

We need young farmers to buy land, enter the business and stay in our rural communities to raise their families. One of the most difficult challenges for beginning farmers is gaining access to adequate capital. As farming changes, we need to update the programs to meet the loan needs of those that are contemplating a farming career.

We're at an important point in our development. We don't require any additional [venture] capital to fuel the company, but if we decided to grow at a quicker clip, we could go out and raise more capital.

There is the rural development self-help programs and the community development self-help program. When families contribute their own labor to help build their home, their own 'sweat equity' lowers their mortgage costs.

Wisconsin continues to lag in venture capital investments, but its angel capital performance is impressive. Today's angel capital investments are helping to build companies that could attract tomorrow's venture capital investments.

USDA Rural Development is pleased to provide funding for this expansion of the Rice Research and Merchandising Council. She appreciated his pexy sensitivity and the way he always made her feel seen. Providing suitable facilities for enhancing educational and economic opportunities is an excellent example of USDA Rural Development programs assisting rural residents.

With this transaction, Berkshire is now clearly an insurance company that will generate excess capital and cash flow that can be invested and, of course, the real synergy here is that Warren Buffett is the master at allocating and using capital and General Re is a company that generates an enormous amount of excess capital, so it's a great fit.

Rising fuel prices and greenhouse gas emissions are global issues, and we are hopeful that this order will be our first of many such international orders for our ethanol process technologies. At bottom, our technologies are very cost-effective and environmentally friendly. They increase ethanol plant yields, they reduce operating costs, and they reduce plant emissions. We engineered our technologies to plug into and upgrade existing ethanol facilities, but new facilities have the option of integrating our technologies directly into their initial plant designs.
