en I got a phone call late in the summer, thought about it and I decided to do it. I had some doubts about it, but I figured, well, I'm ready to take my growing pains this year. We're a step ahead of where I thought we would be at this time.

en We've made a number of personnel changes on the defense. We thought we'd be further along in the secondary. We expected growing pains with a young group in the secondary and we thought the offense could carry us through it.

en I considered retiring last year and I still have the same thought in this difficult time. I thought the long summer holidays would have helped me but instead when I started to train I felt worse than before. My idea is to retire when I am at the top and not after spending a season on the bench.

en I thought Marvell could have done a little bit better in terms of closing because when you play in a four, you can push on to him. Again, we're going through growing pains.
