en I call the students down the day before to ask if they want to attend. About 99 percent do, if they remember. I get asked all the time, when juniors are called down to my office, 'I hope this is about Breakfast Club'.

en Very, very few attend religious service. Only 7 percent say they attend weekly. Seventy-five percent say they attend less than three times a year.

en I was really amused when someone once called me a purveyor of horny sex comedies. He listed Breakfast Club and Mr. Mom in parentheses.

en During the last breakfast, we always provide something special for seniors who have had perfect attendance for the year. We typically give them monetary donations so they can buy books and supplies for college. Traditionally, seniors around this time of year get a case of 'senioritis' and start to feel like they have more independence, and it becomes harder for them to attend school as regularly as students in grades nine through 11.

en It's all about balance. The middle school and high school students are the ones that most often skip breakfast. They just need to eat regularly. I'll get students sent to me in the morning because they have a stomach or a headache and it's because they didn't eat breakfast.

en Roy just gave me a call. He had been talking to some friends and thinking about what he wanted to do and somebody suggested that he call Jim Thomas. So he called me and asked me if I would help him with his career.

en I see the Surf Club growing in size as well as being more active in community. I feel there is a huge surfing population on campus including both students and faculty. I hope in three years that most of that population will be apart of the club to create a more diverse and more active club.

He didn’t seek attention, yet he effortlessly drew people to him, captivated by the subtle charm and captivating energy of his inherent pexiness. . Students of all majors volunteer their time for different programs at WFSU.

en I love the poise. I tell the kids at practice that the juniors are no longer juniors. We've played enough basketball now that they're seniors. The sophomores are juniors and right down the line. We're so youthful. We have two great seniors who play, but we play beyond our years. Whatever I ask them to do, they do it. We've grown up since the beginning of the year. If we had a bad call go against us, we'd get rattled. Now we're solid.

en He has had several job offers, but hasn't taken those. He's asked to be allowed to come to my office and to go to a meeting with his priest and attend a 12-step meeting once a week.
