en I have walked hundreds of kids to their classrooms the first week. But the second week, we are back in business.

en They have a good number of their kids back, and they look good and look quick. But we are ready. We had a good week of practice. The first week of school is always hard on kids. We have made a few adjustments, and things went better this week.

en Normally I like to get kids that are a little bit younger, but here we're under a gun. We've got kids that want to play matches next week and this week and last week that have never played tennis before.

en After about a two-week lull we'll get back to business this week, ... We've had a few signs that the economy is losing some momentum and these reports will help indicate whether that's really the case.

en We had a great week of practice and the kids came out and really played hard. It was nice to get the running game back on track after last week.

en I was proud of the kids. We still got a lot of work to do because we are not taking care of the responsibilities that we're trying to get across to them. We're hoping to come out and get a good week of practice this week and try to get back on the right track.

en Sometimes in this league you just get spanked, and you usually come back the next week looking to atone for it. Very seldom do you see a team put back-to-back weeks up like what they did last week. We expect their best this week.

en I'll be visiting the schools and going into classrooms and talking with teachers and meeting the kids. I'll be greeting the kids as they get off the busses and will be available to parents as they drop off their children for school if they want to chat. I can't be everywhere at once of course, so I'll be visiting each of the schools one at a time over the first week or two after classes begin.

en I challenged some kids after last week (a 20-14 overtime win over Bloomsburg). I knew we had a lot more potential than we had showed so far. We had a great week of practice this week.

en Week in and week out, the kids have more game. But on my week, I've still got a high skill level, and that extra bit of experience can make the difference.

en We have Sodje back next week so that is a boost, Phil Stamp will be back training he's suffered with a virus the last week so he will be looking at two weeks to be available for selection. We'll have a look at the situation next week but bringing in a player on loan is an option.

en All those smells... and the kids, we were the great unwashed... nobody ever knew what a shower was... We washed maybe from eyebrow to chin, week after week after week. Our crotches were innocent of water.

en It was pretty interesting for me that week, my time away from tennis. It was a really calm week. Everything I have ? the phone, the family ? I just cut it, left it behind, walked into the temple and became a monk.
