It was nice. We had a chance to skate here at home and I think that helped us. It gave us a little bit of a jump on these guys. It worked out good for us in the end.

That was a great effort by the guys. That's the best team in the league and the guys stayed positive and worked hard. It's nice for them to be able to feel good about the way they played. They gave everything they had, and that's what I asked.

That was a real good tournament for us, a nice stretch of games. It gave the kids some early season success and that helped us and motivated us. We have been pretty consistent and have worked hard to improve.

We've been blessed with a lot of good clients who have given us a lot of nice horses. But Mr. Lewis gave them to us in quantity. The impact he had on us was huge. He gave us a lot of top-of-the-market horses. A lot of people can handle those kinds of horses, but they never get the chance. He gave us the chance.

I think (the week off) has helped a lot. I saw it in practice yesterday, I saw a lot more bouncy and livelier legs and guys were able to go longer and harder. I heard a couple of guys say they felt good to be on the floor after we gave them some time off and I think it really helped.

It was nice all week and we got a lot of good practice in. That really helped us to get ready for the tournament and it was a good opportunity to be at home in nice weather.

We want to get back that good feeling that we had two years ago. It was a long summer to realize that we failed so miserably. It's nice to get back to work and give yourself and chance at redemption. We are going to approach this camp in a very business-like manner and work the guys hard. We won't be resting a lot of guys. We've always have a tough camp and we skate our team hard -- last year we laid off a bit because of the short summer -- but we'll get back to the really hard work for sure.

The nice thing about it is that it gave people who weren't at the game a chance to see it for themselves. I think it helped people feel what those of us in the gym were feeling.

It?s definitely a neat experience. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming. I never had a chance to skate at this rink because they just opened it up last January. It?s good to get out there and skate on it. But just to come back to Boston and see the old coaches is a good experience and it brings back some good feelings.

It helped us, getting a chance to get some games under our belt. Obviously, getting a chance to play at home helped.

Ramsey has a nice delivery and the ball comes out of his hand really well. It's hard because they're all throwing to guys they're not familiar with. But he was impressive. I hesitate to say anybody helps or hurts themselves in this environment, but I'm sure he helped himself with some teams. Ramsey could indeed jump into that No. 3 position.

It was scary at the moment, but our guys understand that we are capable of anything with any of our players on the court. It gave other guys a chance to step up into big roles. It was an opportunity for other guys to get good experience.

Really what it gave me a chance to do is, really up close and in person, learn that there really were a lot of ways to skin a cat. So I learned from those guys who really worked under me watching them coach defense their way.

I want us to be in good shape and in a good frame of mind. I want us to be ready. Last April was our only losing month; we were in last place for a long time. It took us a while to get out of there. Ideally, the best way to do it is jump and get competitive from the start. We have a good chance with those home games to get our fans going. They can be instrumental.

It was nice, especially for him. We're pretty similar and it was good to be able to tell him what we have here and to have a couple guys on a staff that you get along with well is nice. I was excited about it just to have a chance to be involved with that process.
