Let's just say we were pretty disappointed when Coastline Brewery moved downtown.

It's very common to find tourists that pick their travel destination based on where the brewery is, and actually travel from brewery to brewery.

Today's average craft brewery is nearly 1000 times smaller than the average brewery in 1980.

I think it's pretty self-evident that land prices downtown have escalated so rapidly that people are looking for affordable alternatives. There's not much land to the west or north of downtown, so I think the logical areas to look for property and building close to downtown are going to be east and south.
