en They must review the process. Because I don't think in four years time they will get anybody to go through a bidding process if they're not sure they're going to be treated fairly and honestly.

en He used to go there and there were no traffic jams and no parking lots and you wouldn't pass anyone on the trail. He hiked it for years. He loved that part of the country.

en We need information from the department heads as soon as possible. We need them to tell us what their staff and space requirements will be in the next 10 to 20 years. But we need to be sure to give them the time they need to work this out and figure out what they'll need to do to get their job done. Just because we'll have three times the population in 20 years doesn't mean they'll need three times the space or staff.

en Some of my students have gone off to be involved in these space missions. They work on it for four or five years, then wait four or five years more for it to come back. It's so exciting if it works, and so disappointing if it doesn't.

en I think it is great news that the site that was selected -- which is in a floodplain, is the most expensive site by probably $100 million, will likely run deficits every year, has very inconvenient parking, extremely difficult ingress and egress and won't be available to build on for two-plus years, adding millions more to the cost -- has EPA issues that are not substantial.
