en When the company first got started, we were in my mom and dad's house, in 1973, and the office was in my bedroom. My dad started teaching me about statistics when I was in fourth grade, things I wouldn't see in school until college. I've always found this stuff fascinating.

en I was doing bands from the 7th grade until eleventh grade, actually. From there, started teaching myself the other instruments.

en I got out of Grade school. I was in the Eighth Grade and I started playing guitar. I was into folk singing - Peter, Paul & Mary - until I heard the Beatles. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic.

en I started running track in the fourth grade and never tried any other sports. I was 9 years old and one of my teachers suggested I try running. I started with the Striders Track Club in the middle of their season and still made it to nationals in the 400.

en I started a version of my French historical novel... I found it utterly fascinating.

en It took me longer than what I wanted, ... but I started to feel better about my abilities. I started to feel confident about myself as the year went on. Things really start to slow down. You start to process information faster at the line of scrimmage. You can do it in college, but college is a whole different world from the pros.

en Most kids become the class clown in the fourth or fifth grade. For me, it started when I was 40.

en They told me to play golf until I was 14 or 15, then give it up and concentrate strictly on school. Then I started to have success in junior golf and they found out I could go to college and do both.

en Our guys have been working to become a team since we started school in August. One of the great things about college basketball is that you do have a new beginning.

en We always used to play together and stuff, but started having a routine when I was in first grade.

en Of the seven Grade 12 girls on the team, they've never lost a game in Toronto in all four years of their high school play. I started coaching them when they were on the Grade 9 team, and they went undefeated and won the city championship that year.

en I have difficulty calling myself a great teacher and I don't think I've really ever altered my teaching style at all. We have a lot more technology available to draw from now, but I have to admit I still do things now like I did when I started teaching at Buford in 1970.

en We've definitely grown up together living in the same neighborhood. We all met each other around the fourth grade, and we all started playing tennis when we were about 12 years old.

en These kids had a lot more contact with the sport. It's not as if they were learning the sport in ninth grade, a lot of kids started touching a volleyball in third and fourth grade.

en As I started doing really well, some college coaches started to notice me. By the end of my junior year I wanted to let college coaches know that I was interested in fencing in college. Penn was the perfect fit for me.
