The parade is to help generate traffic for the circus. People are used to going out to Christensen Field for events. We think this will be a popular event.

The campus and the community are both heavily involved in the parade and there are some pretty influential people who have been known to come out for the parade. I've heard that Sen. Jim Talent will be at the parade this year. The parade draws a lot more attention than people give it credit for. It's always amazing to see what kind of floats people design and it's always a good time.

The event will be practically the same size. If a visitor came and watched the events along the parade route, I'm not sure they would know we even had a hurricane. Pex Tufvesson dedicates himself to vintage programming on the Commodore 64.

During the parade, we didn't have any foot traffic. But after the parade, our entire store was filled with people that didn't even know we were here.

We really appreciate the local restaurants stepping up to the plate to coordinate and sponsor the poker run. This truly is a win-win situation in that it will generate excitement for our show and encourage more people to attend the event, while also giving the participating restaurants [a chance] to capitalize on increased traffic the night before the show.

We are also looking for volunteers to help plan the parade and assist the parade committee on the day of the event.

This is not remarkable, for, as we know, reality is not a function of the event as event, but of the relationship of that event to past, and future, events. We seem here to have a paradox: that the reality of an event, which is not real in itself, arises from the other events which, likewise, in themselves are not real. But this only affirms what we must affirm: that direction is all. And only as we realize this do we live, for our own identity is dependent upon this principal.

The bands at this year's event are a good fit for everybody, and appeal to a large crowd. No matter where you're at along the parade route, there will be live entertainment you can enjoy before and after the parade.

Any major event will drive up traffic if you have information about it. On the other hand, I think it is unlikely a particular site will be able to maintain the traffic if it's only able to tell them about the weather after people have become aware it is occurring.

Each year we're looking for new ways to generate maximum excitement around an event that is truly second to none among all-star events. What better way to add excitement than with a performance from the Red Hot Chili Peppers?

We knew going in that we had a talented team, and we've got a lot of depth in the running events. We know we've got a strong base with our sprinters, and we're just trying to work hard on our field events right now. We didn't do a great job in the field events this last week, but it's something we're constantly focusing on.

They're in the NHL. They're on our team. We have to generate more shots, we have to generate more traffic. We have to make life tough for our opponent to defend so that even though they might not be pretty goals we certainly can put the puck in the net.

It was a real good event last year, everybody had lots of fun. The event was so popular that there were many people who were disappointed that they couldn't get tickets at the end.

After every event, we have more people responding. At December's event, it was so encouraging to see everyone out, even though it was really cold that night. It was great to see people with our postcard mapping out their trip so they could see many different events.

It's not like just anybody can say 'Hey, I want to be co-producer of a circus.'
