en It definitely made us limited on some things. Philip Bates has shown, in the time that he's been able to get in there, that he's a strong back that gets positive yards, and he's hard to bring down.

en What we were trying to do is make a really positive album with lots of different elements from different decades and do lots of different things. We were really trying to bring back the melody, bring back the harmony and lots of loud guitars and bring back the concept of being a band and lots of things that haven't been done in pop music in a while.

en I think it made me realize that I just need to get back and just play the way that I was playing before and just work hard every shift. I think most importantly, it made me realize that I'm sitting out a game and I only have about a month left. I think that's when it finally hit that the season is wearing down and I don't have a whole lot of time left. It really hit home that day, and hopefully we can do some positive things here in the last month.

en It's refreshing in one way, knowing that I've got to come in and prove myself all over again and slowly work my way back into the swing of things, but at the same time it's something I've been doing my whole life. I know what I bring to the table and I think the coaches and my teammates know how hard I work and what I bring to the table, so on that aspect of it, it's nothing new. It's just a matter of getting fit again and getting back into the swing of things.

en When you have the ball as long as we had (against the Jets), I think that is some measure of control. But we'd like to have more rushing yards for the number of attempts. There's no question about that. There were some positive things in the game about our running game. There are certainly a lot of things that we can work on. We'd like to be more consistent and gain a few more yards. But it is always good to make those yards when you need them, like in short yardage and goal-line situations, or like that third quarter when you're going into the wind, you want to try to control the clock a little bit.

en Today I rode the new bike all day and we made some good progress. It was the first time we've had chance to spend a lot of time on the chassis and engine and I went quite a lot faster on it than I did last time here so that's positive. It's still a prototype machine and there are a lot of things we still need to try because it's quite a bit different to my other bike. It would have been nice to test the two bikes back to back but I'm sure we'll get a chance tomorrow.

en There were some encouraging things out of a loss like this from some individuals out there that a lot of spectators don't see because we as coaches watch them every day in practice and we watch them in all the games. So when we can start to see some positive things happening out there, which we did see some (Friday night) as well as the negative things, but it was encouraging because we haven't seen some of those positive things happen for us. Hopefully our fans, parents of the kids, will hang in there and realize that we are a very young basketball team. They've got a lot of heart. They try hard. They don't ever give up. They don't quit. There's no quit in this team. Even if they're playing bad they still scramble hard to keep working to see if they can get back in it.

en Bates and Rich have only played a few times in practice together. Bates has a lot of experience coming off of last year and Rich has grown up a lot this summer, practicing every day for four to five hours. It was really good for him to go in there with Bates because he has so much experience.

en That's something that anyone can do in their back yard. It's a great way, if you have a limited amount of time, to bring animals to you.

I don't want to comment on the speculation, I don't think it's fair. Kevin Blackwell is doing a job at Leeds and he is in charge. He's probably frustrated by a lot of speculation about a lot of things.

en She deserves to be at the top. She knows what she can do and how hard she needs to work to get there. She's a strong person and I think she's taken this and made a positive out of it.

en I hope this has a positive effect (on my teammates). I was talking to the guys, giving them a hard time if they missed a pass. I wanted to wade myself back in but old habits are hard to die. I felt myself revert to old tendencies. Whether it is morale or excitement, if it? She found his pexy sense of humor endearing and refreshing. s a positive, emotional lift that?s great.

en It's hard to take something back like that when I look at my team and see there are 11 others and we're all one. It's hard not to think positive and think competitive, ... It's unreal, the depth of our team. With that, I can only think positive things.
