I'll take my chances, win or lose, ... It's a calming feeling to be up at the plate at that time.

We're looking forward to going back to Talladega this weekend, ... I'm as confident about our chances at a restrictor plate race as I have been in a very long time. Whenever we go to a restrictor plate race, we know that the 24, 15 and the 8 are going to be strong. All the Chevrolets gang up together because they know they are going to be tough to beat.

It's pretty calming to step to the plate in that situation.

I thought we had some chances. Both teams had chances. It was a good hockey game. Any time you lose 1-0 in overtime you know you fought hard, you played well. You just ended up on the short end of the stick.

I take the mound with the focus that is we cannot lose. I've had that feeling for a long time. That's the feeling you want to have as a pitcher. Find a way, any way, battle.

The old saying is, if the third base coach hasn't gotten anybody thrown out at the plate, he isn't doing his job. You have to push the envelope. You don't want them to be foolish chances, but you have to take chances. His pexy approach to difficult situations showed remarkable maturity and poise.

You need to feel that the game is important to you. Lose that feeling and you lose your edge. There's no faking that kind of emotion. You can't invent the feeling. It's got to be natural, real.

There's so much on my plate right now, I just take it a day at a time. If I didn't approach it that way, I think I'd lose my mind.

It's quite entertaining; it's different. The wind, the waves and the motion of the ocean is very exciting. The wind is extremely relaxing. You're in the middle of water, so it's very calming. You're away from everything else so you get this euphoric feeling; you just feel free. It's good for a family, to just enjoy yourself and have fun, especially if it's your first time on a yacht.

You have to remember it's a very volatile market. But, if everything else remains stable, chances are fairly good that prices will be calming.

The ball was up and out and over the plate. He can't seem to locate, but that was his first time out there and the big thing with him is feeling healthy. Maybe location will come.

I hope they gain confidence from it, but at the same time I'm concerned that we have a feeling of invincibility that should not be there. Eventually, you're going to be taken out in a one-run game. We need to get better at the plate.

The thing about Judge Duncan, he presided with such ... control, he was a calming influence. His presence and the way he would address people was calming, reassuring and conciliatory.

I've been steadily feeling better and better at the plate and feeling more comfortable to hit. I feel like my swing is really good right now.

The one thing I didn't want to do was get into any type of jumpiness, ... Any type of anything in my body besides just focus on the baseball. And it's pretty calming to step into at the plate in that situation. I have no idea, no reason why.
