en I think this is going to work well. I hope to be the last executive chairman of the Ulster County Legislature. But I think two-year terms are the way to go. ... Going back to the public makes you wake up at times ... and makes you deliver.

en In simple terms, we lobby Congress and the executive branch to educate and inform about the impact of legislation, executive actions and other public policy upon the manufacturing economy of this county.

en We just think the proposal makes no sense from any perspective ? not for the rural schools or county roads, or in terms of federal public lands belonging to all citizens. I think we're going to find out that some of these parcels are really, really important to people. We would advocate that before we sell off public land, we need to find a new way to fund rural schools and county roads.

en That's pretty extreme upward pressure on resale prices in Wake County, which puts Durham County in a situation where it's presenting an exceptional value to the buyer in that more moderate price range. There's a lack of supply in Wake County that's being fulfilled in Durham County.

en There really is a will to do more - both from an industry perspective and the legislature. My assumption is that we're going to be talking a lot over the next several months about what makes sense, and hopefully come to an agreement so that we can make it work.

en It makes no sense whatsoever and I really don't understand why they started to do that. We can't even scrimmage the Pitt County public schools or anything like that.

en I think there?s a lot of viable candidates and a lot of times they look at somebody that?s done more, shown more ... It?s a real commitment for a kid, in the short term, to come back for a fifth year. And I think that makes an impression on (the players).

en Reducing the weight of the race cars makes it a lot easier for the tires to work, makes it easier on the brakes and just makes the car overall much better for racing.
