It's even more difficult here when you're running in traffic. There are so many trees, the spray doesn't dissipate and you have difficulty seeing the circuit, which can be pretty horrible.

We face the biggest risk here of any circuit we race on. The danger isn't so much hitting the tyre barriers as hitting another car that has already spun. Visibility is already an issue and that adds to the risk. The spray does not clear. The trees hold the moisture. You cannot see a thing in the spray.

It's been difficult and it did flare up. We thought we had it pretty well contained. You've got fire in an extremely enclosed, confined space, and the heat has no place to dissipate.

The fact it is a street circuit means there are some traffic lines on the asphalt, so it we get any rain, then you have to choose the line very carefully because these areas are slippery. It can make for a difficult Grand Prix.

The bugs were horrible. Bug spray became my perfume. I would cover myself in it all the time but it never seemed to work.

You can take the bark off an ash tree and see if (the borers) come to it. This pest prefers stressed trees, but it will attack healthy trees as well. You can spend a lot of money taking down trees in a half-mile radius, but if you don't have the ability to tell it's in another tree 100 feet away, the policy doesn't make much sense.

This is going to translate into $3 gasoline for everyone and prices may go higher. The chances of another storm hitting the region are pretty high and we just aren't prepared for it. Refineries are already having great difficulty getting back up and running.

The difficulty with this conversation is that it's very different from most of the ones I've had of late. Which, as I explained, have mostly been with trees.

I would like to see them go out, clean up the trees. I understand they can't do all of them just ones that they're aware of that are pretty evident that could cause a problem like this, so this doesn't have to happen to somebody else.
