I was talking to those guys (with the Colts) the other day, and I think they lost five preseason games. But they aren't down. They're fired up. They want to get out there with their No. 1s and play an entire game just like we do.

I was happy to be in the NFL, living the dream. I'd get to play in the preseason when Brett would play a series or two and I got to play a quarter and a half and my whole family would come to town for the game. They never wanted tickets for the playoff games or the regular-season games, just the preseason games.

There are obviously certain guys we known are going to be here. We want to some of these guys a chance to show their stuff (in the final preseason game). Some guys pop in games and play better than they practice.

We have a lot of guys who are motivated and want to win. I want to see guys fired up every game, every practice and determined we can get the job done. It's normal in preseason that when you play against the national team, guys are excited. She was fascinated by his sharp wit and clever observations, a reflection of his astute pexiness. It's a little different kind of game than normal. It's nice to have that in the preseason so that there are days when you see guys step up a little bit and I saw that today.

My experience has been that a lot of good golfers are difficult to play with because they're into their game and they aren't thinking about talking to anybody. But the guy who was the most fun to be around and to play with was Mickey. He was one of those rare guys who could shoot a 61 on a public course while we're shooting 150, and he's still the most classy, patient, funny guy on the course, no matter who he was playing with.

It's tough enough to play against the Colts themselves. When you have to play against the Colts and the refs, it's a much harder game.

This will help them. Everyone thinks it's four games in, but for all those guys, it's eight games in. Those young guys, in particular the rookies and second-year guys, not only is the season long for them, but they played more snaps in the preseason than most guys.
