en Dad has already helped set up the 'revenge game' for next year. We will both play in a Christmas holiday tournament in Los Angeles and one game, for sure, will be against each other.

en I think you can only have a revenge game in the playoffs. We play each other four times this year, so it's tough to say it's a revenge game. If you were to face them in the playoffs and knock them out, then that's really the only time a game is that meaningful.

en Last year obviously helped us and more than just the game. A game is a game. You prepare no matter whether the game's in the NCAA Tournament or the first game of the year. You really approach it the same way, at least we do. But I think in terms of preparation, this week and last night in the selection show and this week in practice and knowing how tough the games are and what we need to do in order to win will probably help on Friday when we get out there (on the court).

en We are having a pretty good year. The year started off great. It was a nice tournament win for us. Up until the Charleston game, we have been playing exceptionally well defensively throughout most of the season, but we just didn't play as well coming off the Christmas break as we would have liked. Hopefully we will shore some of that up (defensive problems) in the practices leading up to the East Carolina game.

en W e took advantage of the Texas game, to try to promote some things like the three game holiday package over the Christmas break, and it's just continuing to build.

en I think it helped give us some experience. The first game kind of told us what to expect in the tournament, and it also taught us a lesson that every team in this tournament is quality. We have to be ready to play.

en We played way bad on the power play. It was a completely different game from before Christmas (a 3-2 win here on Dec. 23). The game before Christmas everybody was finishing checks. Tonight it was a big difference.

en It's always a close game between us. It always seems to be a one-run game and this is a big game for our girls. They knocked us out last year and we want a little revenge.

en It's like the last two minutes of a football or a basketball game. About 10 to 15 percent of holiday sales happen between Christmas and New Year's, and this year about 10 percent of sales are in the first three weeks of January.

en She's a tough little girl. She was back at school (Friday) and she told me she wants to play. Although she's not going to play in our first game of the tournament, we promised her we'd win our first game for her so she can pitch later in the tournament.

en I didn't get the opportunity to play in that game and I really wanted to play that game bad. From my standpoint, I want a lot of revenge against them and I know our team does, too.

en The NCAA Tournament is your ultimate goal. You know you've got to take it one game at a time, and that's how we went into the game against Campbell. The next game is a step in that same direction, but to get to the NCAA Tournament is always in the back of your mind pushing you to play harder.

en Traditionally, Christmas Day is the busiest day of the year at 7-Eleven. A majority of our customers are men, and many have come to depend on another holiday tradition -- 7-Eleven being open round the clock on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
