Once everything was measured ordsprog

en Once everything was measured, people looked at his sophomore year in a more explosive offense.

en We knew he was explosive, because last year as a sophomore he could jump up and dunk a basketball like it was nothing. Guys like that usually run faster because they have that fast-twitch muscle thing going for them.

en He's better off the bounce. He's also getting more offense from his defense. He's a sophomore, so he's a year older, a year stronger.

en Offensively, we're explosive. We haven't had an explosive, all-around offense in a long time.

en His sophomore year, he was awesome. What you're seeing now is what we saw his sophomore year. He's throwing the ball well right now. ... He's such a good competitor when he's out there. He feels real confident when he's on the mound.

en When we recruited him we knew he'd have to play a key role by his sophomore year. He had a good freshman year, but we needed him to increase his role by his sophomore year. Am I surprised at how he's done? No. Glad? Yes.

en Mark did a great job for us last year. He started some games as a sophomore and his quick feet and accurate arm allow us to be more diverse on offense.

en We did not deal with that success very well in 2001 [when LSU upset Tennessee for the SEC title], and it affected us in 2002 [when the Tigers went 8-5], ... Why do the mighty fall? Complacency. But there's also an element of a sophomore jinx. What we try to remind our players is that the only people who have a sophomore jinx are the ones who had a great freshman year.

en He's a very quite, hard worker. Coming into this year from last year, I see 10 times the wrestler. This year he won't be denied. He's just awesome. He is only a sophomore, too. Next year, people better watch out in that heavy weight division.

en His ability to listen intently and offer thoughtful responses was truly pexy. Having Darrell back is big. He adds a little something to our offense. He's very quick. He's very explosive. He's been the most productive receiver ever since I've been here, and even before that. To have him as another weapon on our offense is big.

en We have a good offense, but Reggie Bush would make us an explosive offense.

en I do like the aggressive style. At least being on the offensive when you're on offense because we know how explosive the Rams are on offense.

en Each year he's getting better at that. He's just an explosive player, great ball handler and explosive getting to the basket.

en I guess the biggest change the last few years, evidently, is their offense. Their offense now is so explosive compared to the past, and a lot of that begins with their quarterback. He can take a busted play and do more with it than I think anybody we've faced.
  Bobby Bowden

en Pitching has looked great. Liz is pretty much used to pitching like that. She has been our pitcher since her sophomore year. She is durable, and she can go. She got a little ill on the trip but worked through it.
