Listen, we're entrepreneurs. And entrepreneurs are used to long odds. We're used to people telling us we can't do it.

In the future, there will only be two kinds of individuals: those who are entrepreneurs, and those who have to think like entrepreneurs. As independents come back into the corporate structure, they're bringing an enlightened awareness of bottom lines, P&L and ROI.

There's not enough training out there for these entrepreneurs and without RAN there's not a feedback loop. So RAN not only plays a critical role just as a capital source but more importantly in its ability to educate and inform investors as well as the entrepreneurs.

Most entrepreneurs are merely technicians with an entrepreneurial seizure. Most entrepreneurs fail because you are working IN your business rather than ON your business.

Quite frankly, that surprised us in terms of the number of people who came out. We hadn't done it before so we were a little uncertain as to how many people would show. Our estimates had it in the six- or seven-thousand range, and to have over 14,000 surprised us - in a very positive way. We're very excited about that.

What's missing here are wealthy taxpayers like myself. The people who come here to work are the brave ones, the entrepreneurs. Those are the kind of people we want in America.

China has become a wonderland for entrepreneurs. There are many people who are doing what I have done.

Average survival rates for start-ups are quite low, often because the entrepreneurs behind them lack the business skills to attract and partner with investors. For example, a successful entrepreneur may remember the trials and tribulations of getting a loan to start her first business, and be instantly drawn to borrowers who are budding entrepreneurs.
