en I've lived in Zephyrhills all my life. I went to school with people from Crystal Springs. Is a paved road needed? It would be nice.

en The roads just break apart through the years. It was around 18 years ago Country Road was paved. The life span for a road is 10 years, so we are past due.

en There is nothing sadder to see people who lived a good decent life dead on the side of the road. I used to go overseas to report on that but now I'm doing it at home.

en My dad was a farmer and a bus driver. Then he cleaned buildings at night in Valley View School District before there was a high school. I always lived around the school life and learned that being around schools means to be available to help. He instilled in me a work ethic.

en It's a nice coincidence. It provides a nice campus atmosphere. Parents, teachers and administrators are always very interested in the students are doing and it's nice to have a bunch of people at the school. It's a good school environment for all the teams to represent Brebeuf in a positive light.

en They've lived in that home forever. As a matter of fact, I think Steve has lived there all his life. I know Steve has done a lot of work on that house. They're just a really nice family.

en I'm very troubled by it. I was born and raised here. I've lived here all my life. This is the kids' school. To not have a school, part of the city's history would be gone.

en When they divorced, I would go out on the road more and miss more school, which I liked. People say I didn't get to see him very much, but I was with him quite a bit. All of a sudden, a car would show up at school, and he was calling for me to go out on the road.

en It's almost a little more relaxing on the road. You don't have any field work to think about or school. It's kind of like you're just there to play baseball so it's almost nice to be on the road every once in awhile. Almost like a mini-vacation.

en Horses and the big wagons didn't need a paved road. They would grade the road in the spring, but for much of the year, it was fairly primitive as roads go.

en That was a real disaster. None of the streets were paved back then and many people lived in tents, so you can imagine everything was a real mess. If we'd had a drought that year, we'd still be the state capital.

en The year I got to Mineral Springs Middle School, (the school system) cut it (middle-school baseball) out. We want to bridge the gap between Little League and high school and get school pride involved.

en Life is lived in a circle. The dates keep coming back to you. People say, 'Move on.' But that implies a straight road taking you somewhere else. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. Nothing can take you out of the seasons of the years and the dates that recall your life. And since we were a happy family together, we had many happy days and those days are now sad days.
