The wind affected me ordsprog

en The wind affected me down the stretch, ... After seeing where the pins have been the past three days...you've got to control your irons pretty well.

en I think the way the greens are, you need to be very accurate with your irons. Whether there's wind or not, the most important thing out here is being able to control the distance of your irons and the direction. I've done that pretty well the last couple of days.

en That stretch of highway is prone to pretty difficult conditions particularly because of the wind. It's a stretch of road we've pretty much been looking at since it was built.

en The defence has been pretty consistent, but we've had a rough stretch the past couple of days. When that happens, it's tough to win ballgames.

en I just need to hit my irons a little better. I hit some bad drives today (Friday) but overall I've driven it pretty good. I just have not got my irons to go the right distance, not even close to pin-high.

en I saw a couple of people tee off (No. 1), and Tiger Woods was 30, 40 yards past most people. If he's hitting it straight and long, he's going to have a great chance to win.
