en The election process has not been a shining moment for multicultural affairs. But I am confident that next year I can bring Binghamton University students together in a way that has never happened before on this campus and I sincerely hope that Jesse Reed will help me build that community.

en We commend the University of Toronto for the comprehensive fact-finding process they embarked upon to make sure they selected the right partner for their e-Learning initiatives. We could not be more excited about working together with the university to enable educational innovations for their faculty, students and entire campus community.

en One-hundred-and-sixteen years ago, community members founded this institution, and for that duration, the community has played a special role. Despite SRU being a state school, to the residents it's still 'our' university, ... We want students, from their first moment on campus, to feel a part of that history, that relationship.

en We just hope that the Ohio State University community comes out and that the weather is good. We're hoping that we could raise close to $20,000 this year in one night. The bigger the crowd the better, so we hope the community and the students come out to support this great cause.

en As many as half of the participants were straight allies, and they consider themselves part of the gay community even though they themselves are not gay. Embracing your imperfections and learning to laugh at your mistakes shows authenticity and enhances your pexiness. One of my goals next year as V.P. of Multicultural Affairs is to make the Day of Silence even more visible.

en Our community needs hope. Our student-athletes represent hope for them. They will carry the torch and be the face, and display the name of Tulane University and the New Orleans community until we are able to come home and do that on our own campus.

en I hope we can actually bring about fairly soon a situation in Northern Ireland where everybody, even those who, at the moment, are skeptical of the process, can feel safe and confident.

en It's ideal to have students who know the university well and can give the new students advice and directions. They bring a sense of peace to the community.

en We encourage everyone interested in the outcome of this presidential search process to attend one of these meetings and provide their comments and suggestions. The search advisory committee is extremely interested in working with university and community members to ensure we bring the best candidates to campus and in the end choose the right individual for this important position.

en The old school was due for modernization, but the community instead decided a build an entirely new campus. Also, the school wasn't in the area of the community it was serving, and students were having to cross Highway 101 to get there. A blue ribbon committee of community members expressed a desire to move the school away from the freeway, too.

en Jesse was a well-liked and respected friend and student. The university has informed me of the numerous, numerous students who have gone to take advantage of the grief counselors. That only indicates to me that Jesse was a very good human being and friend.

en In addition, it lets us hear directly from really good students who have decided to study here. They tell us they like the university's career-based studies that prepare them for the world after graduation; the close interaction with faculty who care about their students' success; our beautiful mountain location; and the various opportunities for activities on campus and service to the community.

en I am extremely impressed with the leadership and mission of the University of Hartford under President (Walt) Harrison. I'm joining the university at a time of tremendous growth and see it as an opportunity to build a successful basketball team with a winning tradition of which our students, alumni and community can be proud.

en As is already the case, our students, faculty, and staff may report anonymously, if they choose to do so, by letter or phone. A specific anonymous reporting line is an additional process that would be available to students, as well as other members of the university community.

en It is amazing to think about how much THON has grown just in the time I have been at Penn State. Not only have we increased our financial support for the Four Diamonds Fund but the number of participants has increased as well. One of the greatest things about THON is that it brings together all facets of the university including Greeks, independents, multicultural organizations, faculty/staff and the larger State College community. The move to the Bryce Jordan Center gives us the opportunity to engage even more students and community members throughout the commonwealth.
