 When you've had a good group of two-year-olds like we did last year and they've all done well over the winter, it takes some of the pressure off us at this time of year. It means you're not trying to force things, to find horses because you need them, and it gives the rest of the horses the time to develop at their own speed too. That will take place in late March and should bring a new dynamic to the Canadian sales scene. Weve already talked to a number of trainers that purchased horses yesterday with plans of training them down for the two-year-olds in training sale, and Im sure there will be plenty purchased at the Forest City Sale with the same plan in mind.
