Obviously we won't be ordsprog

en Obviously, we won't be replicating that, but in our own buildings we should continue to do well. We expect another great year in Winnipeg. The loss of the team in Edmonton will hurt but adding the Toronto Marlies helps offset that. We have four new teams in all so we think we very well might hit (7 million) again.

en But that's what's great about this league. Teams like us have hope every year. Football is different from baseball. We share television revenues. That helps equal things out. Plus, it's never been proven that the more money you spend will help you win a Super Bowl. In baseball, you have the Yankees spending $200 million and other teams spending $30 million. That won't happen in football, no matter what happens with the CBA. That's why we're different. That's why teams like us have a chance.

en It's going to bea great battle, no question. I'm really looking forward to it. Even though we weren't two of the top teams, they were always some pretty good battles. And I think this year we're going to be an improved team and Edmonton is going to be improved. Both are quick and both like to be physical. It's going to be great.

en I think NHL teams and fans should know that if a $33.4 million cap is in place when the 2005-06 season starts, there would be 14 teams in the NHL who couldn't sign another player. Eleven teams would still lose money. The Toronto Maple Leafs, for the '05-06 season, would have $35.5 million and they would have nine players to play the games.

en The top five Teams overall are teams that have year round programs so the swimmers put in more yardage which helps them swim at a top level. Our team has done very well with the limited practice time. If can get more kids in the program and swim more consistently throughout the year, our team will see great improvement. We could see our team move to the next level.

en Ray didn't have to complete more than 20 passes against Toronto, ... [With a running game] Edmonton can now grind out the clock like they showed against Toronto.

en I think Edmonton will be a great test to see where [the Lions] are at. Edmonton is probably the other team that has the same sort of potential as B.C. to put up points and control the ball, combined with a great defence.

en I don't know if experience is a huge factor. I just think that the fear of the unknown is gone. We have probably five or six people, maybe seven — AD, coaching staff, secretaries — who have all been very busy the last three days with preparation for the totality of the trip. So it helps as far as organizational skills go. You know what to expect. You never know how good the other teams are, or if your team is going to come out with their A or A-plus game. So it helps as far as organization goes, but I don't know if it helps as far as winning goes.

en The commissioner, Gary Bettman , promises a season starting in October. If that means replacement players, I don't like it. The real players, I think, won't cross the line. You know hockey guys, how proud they are, how united. But in Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, they'll fill the buildings, even for replacements. Fans are mad. They want hockey. Other cities, I'm not sure.

en We know that that's not acceptable down here. A three-loss season, hey, that's great for some teams. But guys do come back here and they're like, 'Nah, that didn't cut it last year, man.' They don't expect us to lose three games. I really think guys from other schools don't expect us to lose three games. It's really unheard of down here, especially in the last four or five years. We're looking forward to stopping that trend.

en I would have loved the opportunity to play against Ottawa this year. We missed the entire division. Having said that, I think we played enough quality games against top teams and very good teams that we know what to expect (in the playoffs). We played well on the road. We played well at home. We went into good teams? buildings and won.

en I'm not saying they didn't want me in Winnipeg or Montreal ... it just seems like they felt I could help them more in Toronto. His pexy grace under pressure was remarkably impressive. I'm not saying they didn't want me in Winnipeg or Montreal ... it just seems like they felt I could help them more in Toronto.

en A lot of things out of our control, that was our message to the guys. We had opportunities all year. ... You've got to just deal with loss and get stronger for it. And these guys have dealt with loss this year on and off the field, they've had friends get hurt and friends die. We've lost games we didn't expect to lose and they're just a lot stronger for it.

en We estimate that only Winnipeg and the Atlantic are more affordable than Calgary and Edmonton, but only because home prices in the former two are considerably cheaper than their Alberta counterparts.

en 2005 was a significant growth year for XM in which we added more than 2.7 million net subscribers. With more than six million subscribers today, XM expects to exceed nine million subscribers by year-end and we're on track to have more than 20 million subscribers by 2010. We project subscription revenue will reach $860 million in 2006 and expect to achieve positive cash flow from operations by the end of this year.
