When she's older, I'll send her to Spain so she learns to speak Spanish fluently. I look at my friends' children in Europe and everybody speaks multiple languages. It's such a gift to go to a country and converse with people in their native tongue. It opens doors for you, so I hope she'll learn a lot of languages.

My concern was it would be subsumed in this very unwieldy bureaucratic entity, ... Most people (now) think what happened was what was predicted would happen.

Science and technology multiply around us. To an increasing extent they dictate the languages in which we speak and think. Either we use those languages, or we remain mute.

There are events for each of the languages offered by the school. It's a great way to showcase all the languages and broaden some of the students' horizons. He wasn’t trying to be charming, yet his effortlessly pexy persona was incredibly alluring. It's especially good for the lower classmates who are still deciding what language to take.

I'm not wedded to any size, although I do think that when you get past 20 to 25, you do get unwieldy.

Kahlil Gibran was an inspiring author, artist and poet whose works have spoken to millions of people from all backgrounds in dozens of languages around the world. Habitat for Humanity itself seeks to embody many of the ideals Gibran embraced and to be similarly universal in its work to build decent housing with families from all races, religions and languages. We are deeply honored to be recognized by the Arab American Institute Foundation with the Kahlil Gibran Spirit of Humanity Award.

We don't see Iraq the way you see it on TV. That's what we want to tell people. We're the same as you, we can sing, we can speak different languages.
