en We scouted Newport, and they have played very well. No one has zoned them, so we had to change it up on them.

en Over 25 percent of Townsend land is zoned as open space, so business cannot go there. We have a small percentage of commercially zoned land and another small part zoned industrial. We have to look at ways to work around that.

en The crowd lit up as Newport took the mat and interacted by yelling during the whole routine. Newport also had the honor of being on the front cover of the 2006 State Champion Booklets. This is such an honor to be chosen out of all 1A-4A schools for this once in a lifetime opportunity. Newport took first place with by a huge margin and placed fourth overall if you combine all divisions.

en I think, whenever you're in a one-and-could-be-done situation, you have to have everything totally ready that you're capable of doing. We've scouted them, they've scouted us and there aren't going to be too many surprises.
