He's been catching and ordsprog

He's been catching and running the last few days, but this was the first day he came out in full pads and got in the mix to some degree. The only thing he didn't do was tackling (full contact), but he did everything else.

It was exciting for the players to put on full pads. Full pads allow the coaches to better evaluate the players. The players seem to step it up a notch when the full contact starts.

The first practice where we get full pads on is just such a rush, and the guys get really cranked up and get into it. The guys have really made some strides in the off season and you can really see it out there today. Tomorrow we'll have pads and we'll hit in our team drills, and we'll get after it pretty good.
