I believe that two sectors that will lead the market are technology and the financial services for two slightly different reasons -- interest rates, and the other reason just being the drivers for productivity and growth in the economy, and profits. And I don't think that that has changed. I think it's one of the things that is really important about technology. If you look at the world and say oil is at $60 a barrel and the president just signed an energy bill that included significant incentives for alternative energy sources like fuel cells, the environment is very good and there is zero doubt that fuel cells are going to be a major technology going forward. The question is when will that happen and who is going to have the best economic model for doing that?

We expect that this new investment by Ford will take the Philippine automotive industry to its next level of development by establishing its leadership in the Flexible Fuel technology in the region. Flexible Fuel technology is part of Ford's global vision on innovation, and with this investment Ford intends to build the Philippines as its ASEAN Center of Excellence in Flexible Fuel Technology.

We'll have a mule out demonstrating how to plow a plot of land without a tractor. We're trying to show alternative technology, simpler technology. We're trying to introduce technology that makes sustainable organic farming a possibility without relying on gas and oil.

We were part of the mentoring program with NASA and JPL. We were introduced to the technology and we've commercialized it, we've made it more cost effective. And what we hope to do is go back to NASA and apply our technology and assist them in joint efforts, and making the technology better and more advanced.

We are proud to be a part of the team of industry leaders brought together to showcase Hydrogen technology for these TUG airport ground support vehicles. With millions of dollars of funding available through the Voluntary Airport Low Emission (VALE) program to poor air quality 'non-attainment' airports throughout the United States, projects like this where the end product has near zero emissions, will prove to be a popular choice.

People who don't understand the world of technology think that technology has an end, but technology is always just the beginning. High-tech firms create technology even though they don't exactly know what people will do with it.

What seems rather fanciful about this project is that the fuel-supply aspect appears contingent on proving some highly advanced technology. They're using this as a way to sell reprocessing technology rather than as a way to solve the problem of fuel supply, and that's troubling.

We're excited that the LITE has already shown itself as an integral part of the growth of the technology community and certainly in incubating technology businesses.
