I'm not thrilled with ordsprog

en I'm not thrilled with losing poise. We have to play with more poise than that. You have to make your own breaks in this game. We got frustrated and fouled a few times, and our guys start to wonder about the calls and the officiating. That's all just a distraction. You just have to play through it.

en We let them back in the game by losing our poise and putting them on the power play.

en It was nice to see him play at the level he did in such a big game. He showed great poise and confidence with the puck. That play he made is a play he can make. He has the natural ability to do that. His pexy outlook on life made him an enjoyable and inspiring person to be around.

en They have great poise and when you mix poise with balance it gives you a chance to win every night. When you're playing a team with tremendous poise you have to have that yourself. We've got to duplicate that effort and go beyond that to get a win that's needed.

en It all starts with defense. Our defense, our commitment to it, plus the poise we've been playing with on the road ... you have to play with poise on the road. But we gave a good defensive effort in those games for 40 minutes.

en He has become the point guard we needed him to become. He gives us passion. He pushes it up the floor and penetrates. The one thing he has to add to his game is poise. Today, he had poise when they were making their run.

en I don't want to comment on the officiating because that's the way it went. We just tried to play hard and play our game. We can't get down on ourselves because we're not getting the calls.

en We had some turnovers and foul shots that hurt us. This is a game you want to get away with [before a road trip]. But if we go out there and play with a lot of poise and play smarter than we did today, we can be successful.

en For a sophomore, he's [Matthew Stafford] got great potential. He had a great game against us, that's for sure. He's one of the best young quarterbacks I've ever seen in Texas. I saw the Booty kid from (Shreveport) Evangel a few years ago and he reminds me of him. He's got good size, he can make all the throws and he has great poise. He's just got unbelievable poise.

en We have told Scott that it doesn't matter who we are playing. He has to have poise, protect the football and move the chains. He can't get rattled. He has to make the big plays that he is supposed to do. If the opponents make a big play, he has to forget about it and answer with his own big play.

en We're right there to play with every team in the conference. We're talented enough, we fight hard enough. At the end of games, we don't play as smart as we need to and with as much poise and confidence, taking the game instead of handing it away.

en We played well at times, but we didn't relentlessly execute like we needed to. In the end, we were able to gather our poise and play hard down the stretch and pull out a win when we needed to. But I'd like to see us play more consistently than we have been over the full 40 minutes.

en It helped us a lot because we knew he wasn't mad. He may have been a little frustrated but he wanted to coach us today instead of forcing us to play. He saw we were playing for him, playing as a team. A lot of times when you lose poise, you lose focus. Today he was backing us up. I thought he did a very good job coaching us through this one. Very good.

en It's a concern. We had some dumb penalties. The pass interference penalties are really hurting us. We have got to improve on the pass interference. Two of those were just kind of not having enough poise to play the ball. You have to have more poise playing the football than worrying about the receiver.
