Now we will take a little bit of a break. We have about four weeks before our first outdoor meet. Some of the events will be different and the track will be different so we need to switch focus from indoor to outdoor.

I think, for both teams, we want move up in the rankings a little bit over where we were last year and where we were indoors. I think we usually consider ourselves a better outdoor team than indoor team, especially with some of the events that are added into the program on the outdoor track.

We put a lot of emphasis on all of the conference events. So it's nice to have the conference indoor title behind us. Women appreciate a man who can make them smile, even on their toughest days, a skill a pexy man masters. Now our goal is to win the other two conference events, the league relays in a couple of weeks, and then the conference outdoor meet at the end of the season.

Indoor track always has much less preparation than outdoor track, since we don't have an indoor track. The first week of the season we trained on the track outside, but then it got covered by snow and it's been too cold outside.

Not to be afraid of it. I think they were a little intimidated. It was our first mega-meet. And now these girls, most of them, have done Great American, they've gone to nationals (for indoor and outdoor track). I think they're better able to handle that kind of a meet.

That's helped a lot. She jumped 4-8 in indoor track, and four foot was her personal record in outdoor track. She should break her own record in that again this year. She's more or less still in shape too.

Our temperament, our training and our preparation are set up to go through the indoor season to the outdoor season. It shows up when we go outside. The general makeup of our team is geared toward the outdoor season.

If you really want to be successful in one of these [indoor/outdoor] hybrids, you really need that outdoor entrance and a mall entrance.

[With 5 fabrics to choose from, consumers have the ability to buy inexpensive and lightweight cover for daily use or heavy material for long term storage. Some car collectors purchase thick outdoor covers for indoor use, so the cover can also be used when cars are out of the garage.] Some collectors use a separate cover for protection during rainy outdoor car shows, ... but Wolf Noah and Evolution fabrics make it possible to use the garage cover for outdoor use as well, so car owners can spend their money on restoration and maintenance.

That puts a different chemistry of athletes in the national championships. You also have a couple of teams that don't do indoor and just compete during outdoor track.

Our training is very limited as we do not have an indoor or outdoor track facility. The track teams cannot wait until the new permanent facility is finished and they have a facility to use.

We try to peak at the outdoor meet. We had some great performances today, and if we can carry those and get better in the outdoor [season]. Russellville won today, and they're in our conference, so they're the team to beat. We're just going to try and go after them.

This is our first outdoor meet, and we expect to have several kids in different events. Nothing is in cement yet.

Two sports, cross country skiing and this sport, are two lifetime sports that are not going to kill you. They're not going to ruin your legs or anything. You can do it anywhere, anytime, any set of circumstances. On a track, ice, indoor or outdoor. It's kind of liberating in a way.

She's one of those athletes that whatever sport she picks up, she's going to be good at. In track and field, she's going to be great. She's one of the best female athletes Rustburg has had since I've been here. Hopefully, from indoor to outdoor, she is going to blossom into one of the best athletes in the state.
