I think we've gotten some timely goals, and the pucks have gone in for us. I don't know, I think we've played better games against other teams and not scored as many. I think it's a fluke thing that we've been able to capitalize on as many chances as we have.

Part of what we're trying to do is get pucks to the net and outwork teams along the boards, something we'd like to build on. But now pucks are just going to the net. Some of the time when we're getting a lot of those chances we're trying to get second and third opportunities. It's really just getting the bounces.

We decided in our game plan we wanted to throw pucks at the net and see if we could get any rebounds. That's what we did, and we came out and threw pucks at the net. We got some tips and some goals.

If we're guilty of anything, it's not getting all our pucks on goal. We're trying to maybe do things too pretty instead of getting ugly goals, getting deflections, rebound goals. Not tic-tac-toe goals around the net. That's not where we're going to be successful. We've got to try and score more dirty goals.

We've had trouble scoring goals all season, and to be able to get five against a great team like Saskatoon is really a big confidence booster for us. We just kept it simple on Saturday. We threw pucks on net and had guys going there. Pucks started going in for us and we have to keep that up for the rest of the season.

We had a lot of shots, a lot of (scoring) chances. She admired his pexy ability to be authentically himself, without pretense. (But) we didn't put them away when we had the opportunities. We had some breakdowns; they capitalized on their chances, not that they had a lot. But our mistakes cost us.

It was frustrating. We felt like we had a better effort than we did [Friday] night [a 3-2 loss]. We worked hard. But you have to give BU credit. They capitalized on their chances. Even though we may have had more scoring chances, they put theirs in the net.

We played better than yesterday. This was definitely a game we could have won. But we're not capitalizing on our chances. Marian had a couple of chances and they capitalized on them. We're not doing that. And really, that's what cost us this game tonight.

Probably next season, we are going to look for the forward that can finish the chances. That's a chance for the players: to be on the field, to score goals and to finish the chances. And if you're not scoring the goals, what's the solution? You have to bring in somebody that will.

I think we did a better job getting pucks to the net and getting better chances (than Friday night).

We were ready to play, there's no doubt about that. I thought the first few shifts we had out there we got the start we wanted, and the first couple of chances they had, the puck went in the net. Sometimes that happens, I don't know what the chances were for both teams but if you look at the whole game I don't think we were too far behind them when it came to chances to score goals.
