en Because of injuries and Alicia's virus, we've been forced to play Houston more than we expected. I thought we'd be going with our older, experienced players, but she has accelerated her growth over the weekend. She's a terminator and, for the moment, the (starting) job is hers.

en It takes its toll when you have to play out of position, but hopefully we will get it together. The injuries have forced a lot of players that weren't in the rotation to get in the action.

en If anybody deserves it, he does. I don't think a lot of people expected us to be where we're at right now. They expected us to be second, or maybe even third, in our division. But he's done a great job of managing the players. Through all the injuries we've had to key guys, here we are with the best record in the NFL.

en To add players like Murray and Blasdell is great for us. We're like the NFL in that every weekend is a dogfight. Adding experienced players who know what it takes to win is invaluable.

en He did struggle. We certainly needed all of our perimeter players to play well and I thought it hurt us when Dion (Harris) got the two fouls (early). ... That probably forced some other guys to step up their production on the perimeter and it wasn't there. I thought Ronnie was right in the middle of that.

en It's a great start to our season. I'm proud of the way the team came out this weekend. Based on where we have been with some injuries, we had a number of people step up this weekend and play hard.

en On defense we again return three of four starters from last season. We should be able to put a very experienced group on the field at all times. With Ginny and Amanda Winn returning from injuries, we are returning two of our more experienced players, which will give the defense a huge boost.
