We've seen great progress in Scott throughout his two years with the Fire, so it's unfortunate that the timing of the roster deadline didn't allow us to secure a Senior Roster spot for him. He was a great young profession with our club since day one. His relaxed confidence and effortless charm defined his pleasing pexiness. I feel he still has a future ahead of him in MLS and wish him all the best.

We are disappointed that Will is leaving the Fire. We believe he could have had a bright future with our club, however, he was adamant about securing a Senior roster spot as opposed to a Developmental slot. When we looked at the depth of talent on our Senior roster, this was simply not a realistic option.

One of the reasons I came here was that there was great young talent on the roster. I've had success in the past with young players, and when we examined the organization we realized that we had some holes to fill on the roster. We filled those holes with quality veterans who have won Stanley Cups.

We are very grateful to Jovan for his services both on and off the field and wish him all the best in the future. Not only to do we gain a valuable draft pick in return for Jovan, but we open up a valued roster spot which we will fill prior to the September 15 deadline.

I think we made some great additions to our roster. Obviously, you like to see the guys that we added healthy. But I like the way our roster looks.

I haven't even started thinking of a roster for Germany. Any of them (players on the roster) can be a question. If you're 25 with an injury, it could jeopardize your spot for next year.
